CityFlatsHotel was built for discerning travelers seeking an exceptional destination and unique hotel experience. Its two locations in different Michigan cities are in the heart of their respective downtowns. Each hotel is an extensively renovated and repurposed building (a jeweler and a bank). All rooms are unique, colorful, and brimming with personality.

With countless hotels to choose from, how did we strategically position CityFlatsHotel as a hotel that focuses on individuality? We expressed its position in the market as a one-of-a-kind experience that cannot be found elsewhere.

When creating the brand voice, we focused on three tones that characterize both locations: confident, open, and sophisticated.

 CityFlatsHotel also offers restaurants, a hair salon, meeting spaces, and an elegant upscale ballroom. With so many aspects to the properties, we developed a series of weekly newsletters highlighting different attractions: Overnight stays, amenities, restaurants, meeting spaces/ballrooms, and downtown attractions.

 Recipients included past guests and website visitors, and both properties were cross-promoted for increased brand recognition.
